Skiing, tobogganing, winter walks and more
In winter, Niederau is all about snow: skiing in the ski area around the Markbachjoch and at Ski Juwel, tobogganing, cross-country skiing and walking on groomed winter paths. The ski season runs roughly from December to mid-April; exact dates vary from year to year.
This page gathers all winter activities from our guide, in the valley and within an hour’s drive. If you would rather stay off the mountain for a day: wellness, museums and the glass town of Rattenberg are good winter choices too.
