At the Roggenboden ski area in Oberau, close to Niederau, you can toboggan after dark in winter on a floodlit, wide and well-prepared slope. The sledge has an attached ski and can be hooked into the drag lift, so you do not have to walk back up.
According to the region, night tobogganing takes place on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from about 7:30 pm to 9 pm, on request. Registering in advance is necessary. Groups of around 20 or more can also book other days. You glide through a snowy landscape under lights, quite different from daytime. Prices and current dates vary by season.
