Berghaus Koglmoos (Schatzberg)

Berghaus Koglmoos sits at roughly 1,300 metres next to the mid station of the Schatzbergbahn above Auffach. It is a mountain restaurant serving regional food, with a large terrace looking out over the Kitzbühel Alps. Arriving by gondola, you get off right at the door and do not need to climb any further.
Families will find it practical because a children's playground with a water feature is nearby, according to a summer walking-route description from the Schatzberg. In winter the house stands by the piste, close to a small practice lift for beginners. It is also a stopping point on walking routes between Mühltal, Bernau and Auffach.
