The Dauerstoa Alm sits at about 1,840 m by the top station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn. On the official Ski Juwel page it is placed between the top stations of the Pöglbahn and the Wiedersbergerhornbahn, so skiers pass it on the connecting runs.
The hut has a large terrace, a chill zone and an outdoor bar alongside the indoor restaurant. In summer it is a rest stop for walkers around the Wiedersberger Horn, and the Lauserland adventure area in the woods is close by, a natural outing for families. It is run by a family from Alpbach.
