Brixen im Thale, Westendorf, Hopfgarten, Itter and Söll, among others, are connected.
Kitzbühel itself is an old town with a well-known skiing history and a lively centre. For families it is mainly interesting for a day of shopping, walking or visiting a mountain. In summer the region is popular with hikers and cyclists, with paths over meadows and to huts. According to the tourist board golfers find several courses around Kitzbühel, two of them in the town centre.
