Forest and Family Trail in Thierbach

A short, quiet circular walk in the highest village of the Wildschönau

Thierbach lies at about 1,150 metres, is the smallest and highest village of the Wildschönau and is known for its peace and quiet. The Wald- und Familienweg runs here, an easy circular walk of about 3.2 km that takes roughly an hour.

Along the way are energy and rest spots, an energy tree and a forest playground for children at the Koglweg. It makes a pleasant walk for discovering nature with children at their own pace. There are no big attractions, and that is precisely the charm. For those who want more, longer hikes also start from Thierbach. A loop through the village combines well with a stop at one of the inns.
