In summer the Bundesmusikkapelle Oberau gives an open-air concert every Tuesday evening at 8 pm in the village centre, at the bandstand on the Dreizehnlindenplatz. In 2026 the series runs from 7 July to 1 September, nine concerts in all. The programme ranges from traditional brass music to more modern sounds.
It is a simple, relaxed evening: you sit or stand on the square, listen and watch the village come together. Children usually enjoy the instruments. Refreshments are available. Check the current dates beforehand, as they can change in bad weather.
