Village walk in Söll

A SkiWelt village centre with a church, shops and summer events

Söll lies at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser and belongs to the SkiWelt ski area. The village centre is lively, with shops, restaurants and cafés. The Baroque parish church of Saints Peter and Paul, built between 1764 and 1768 on the site of a Romanesque predecessor from around 1050, is a nice starting point for a stroll through the village.

In summer the centre becomes a meeting place: on Wednesday evenings there is music, regional food, craft stalls and a children’s programme, and at the Söller Freitag bands play at several spots around the village. A walk through the centre takes about an hour and combines well with a coffee stop or lunch.
