The Innsbruck Festival of Early Music has run since 1976 and is among the best-known Baroque music festivals in Europe. In 2026 it was the 50th edition, running from 24 July to 30 August. It takes place in summer in other years too; check the current dates.

Concerts are held at about thirty historic venues in and around Innsbruck, such as Ambras Castle, the Hofburg, the Hofkirche and churches.
