Alpbach
Tyrol's flower village at about 1,000 m, known for its timber buildings
Alpbachtal
Inn valley village next to Rattenberg, Austria's smallest town
Radfeld lies on the flat floor of the Inn valley at about 512 m, right next to Rattenberg. It is a municipality in the Kufstein district and belongs to the Alpbachtal tourism region. The village itself is modest and mostly rural.
Its main strength is its location. Rattenberg, known as the glass town and Austria's smallest town, is within walking distance, with the castle ruin on the Schlossberg above it. The Inn Cycle Path, an almost flat route through the Tyrolean lowlands, also passes by Radfeld.
Radfeld is not a full-day destination, but it fits well into a combined outing: cycling along the Inn, a walk in the surroundings and then a visit to Rattenberg. The nearby Reintaler See is one of the warmer bathing lakes in Tyrol. From Niederau it takes about 25 minutes. There is little tourist infrastructure here, so you may want to bring your own snacks or eat in Rattenberg. For children the flat cycle route is a pleasant way to spend a day outdoors. If you plan to visit the castle ruin, check beforehand that the path is passable.

About 25 minutes by car from Niederau: via Oberau to Wörgl, then along the Inn towards Rattenberg.
Always check times, prices and opening dates with the provider beforehand; they can change.
Mainly Rattenberg, Austria's smallest town with a glass tradition, and the castle ruin on the Schlossberg.
