A relaxed village evening with regional food and the village brass band
In summer Niederau holds a regular village evening on the Dorfabendplatz next to the Markbachjochbahn. Local clubs provide food and drink and offer regional specialities, with music in the background. Around 8.15 pm the Bundesmusikkapelle Niederau marches onto the square and gives a concert.
It is an easy evening for families: a few minutes on foot or by car, a relaxed atmosphere and room for children to wander. In 2026 the series ran from 27 May to 2 September, from 7 pm to 10 pm. Dates and times may change from year to year, so ask at the tourist office or your accommodation.
