Open-air pool with a children's pool below Lanegg Castle
The Freischwimmbad in Brixlegg lies in the Alpbachtal, right below Lanegg Castle and next to the Mining and Smelting Museum. It has two swimming pools, a children's pool and a large sunbathing lawn.
It is a simple, spacious municipal pool: no spectacular attractions, but a pleasant place to spend a warm afternoon. The pool only opens in good weather, so check on the day whether it is open. Entry is included with the Alpbachtal Card. It fits well into a day out in the Alpbachtal, for example combined with the mining museum or a visit to nearby Rattenberg.
Place: Brixlegg
