The Freischwimmbad Wildschönau lies between Niederau and Oberau and is open daily in summer when the weather allows. It offers over 1,000 m² of water, split between a sports pool, a multi-purpose pool and a baby pool. A large water slide is the eye-catcher for children.
Beside the water there is a sunbathing lawn, a beach volleyball court, a buffet and a large playground with sandpit and slides. That makes the pool an easy choice for a warm afternoon with children of different ages. It is also close to the end of the Wirbelwindweg and the Bergbauernmuseum, so it combines well with a walk.
