Wildpark Aurach, Kitzbühel

Wildlife park with deer, ibex and lynx, with views of the Kitzbühel Alps

Wildpark Aurach lies at Aurach, close to Kitzbühel, and has Tyrol's largest outdoor enclosure for game. You see red deer, fallow deer and mouflon, along with ibex, lynx and yaks; around 350 animals live there. The park looks out over the Kitzbühel Alps.

The game feeding takes place daily at 2.30 pm, except during the rutting season from mid-September to mid-November. At weekends there is also a supervised feeding for children at the petting barn. Outside peak season the park is usually open Thursday to Sunday, and daily in summer; check the current days. Allow half a day.
