Hahnenkamm in summer

By cable car above Kitzbühel: walking, views and huts

The Hahnenkamm is the mountain above Kitzbühel, known in winter for the Streif downhill. In summer it is a hiking and biking area with panorama paths, experience stations, flow trails and many huts. The Hahnenkammbahn starts in Kitzbühel itself, at 786 m. The mountain's highest point, the Ehrenbachhöhe, is at 1,802 m.

Walks range widely, for example the four-lakes hike or a route to the Ehrenbachhöhe, with views of the Kitzbühel Alps. There are huts for a break, and if you like you can take the gondola back down for part of the way. Allow half a day.
