The Kitzbüheler Horn, at 1,996 metres, is one of the mountains above Kitzbühel. The Hornbahn, which runs in summer from May to early October, gets you up quickly. Walking routes start from there, including ones for families.
The Alpenblumengarten covers about 20,000 m² and shows more than 400 species of alpine plants from different parts of the world. The walk through the garden is an easy family route of about 2 km, taking around an hour. What is in bloom depends on the season, from late spring into autumn. From the top you have views over Kitzbühel and the surrounding mountains.
