Walking and playing with the Wilder Kaiser as a backdrop

In Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser the Brandstadlbahn, an eight-seat gondola, takes you in summer to around 1,650 m. Around the top station lies a pleasant walking area with views of the Wilder Kaiser rock walls. Close to the station you will also find the KaiserWelt, a play area for families.

There, children can search for gemstones, climb and play beside streams. For walkers there are easy paths to places such as the Jochstub'nsee and the panorama route to the Hartkaiser station in Ellmau. It is a good choice if you want half a day of play or a gentle outing with the children.
