Hochsöll and Hexenwasser (Söll)
Gondola up to the Hexenwasser, a playful hiking world for families
From Söll the Hochsöll gondola takes you up in a few minutes to the Hexenwasser (about 1,355 m), a mountain adventure world with indoor and outdoor water stations, a bee house with a beekeeper and an old farmhouse as the witches' headquarters. Children can explore the witches' forest barefoot. The paths are easy and full of small surprises.
If you want to go higher, take the second section of the gondola to the Hohe Salve (1,829 m), with views of around 70 peaks over 3,000 m. The 2026 summer season runs from 9 May to 1 November; check current times and fares before you set off.

- Bring dry clothes for the children: they will get wet at the water stations.

Practical
Söll is about 25 minutes by car from Niederau, in the Kufstein region. The valley station of the gondola is in the village; on the way up you get off at the Hexenwasser.
