Zell am See Lido

Swimming in the Zeller See, ringed by mountains

The Zeller See lies in the Pinzgau region of Salzburg, between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern, and is known as one of Austria's cleanest bathing lakes. There are lidos around it in Zell am See itself, in Thumersbach and in Schüttdorf (Seespitz).

The Zell am See lido has, among other things, an adventure pool for children with a large slide and water mushrooms, a separate toddler pool, a 5-metre diving tower and water activities such as water skiing and banana boat rides. It is a longer drive from Niederau, so it suits a full day trip best.
