Wiedersbergerhornbahn, Alpbach
By gondola to alpine pastures and the Lauserland
The Wiedersbergerhornbahn in Alpbach is a six-seat gondola that takes you in summer to a hiking and pasture area around the Wiedersberger Horn (2,127 m). At the top there are huts, alpine pastures and panorama paths with views of the Kitzbühel Alps.
For families there is the Lauserland by the top station, a forest playground with almost 40 play and adventure stations. Well known are the Lauser-Sauser, Austria's highest carousel (18 m), and the Lauser Tower with jumps into a large air cushion. It suits a half day, for example with a hut stop, and the lift is also a starting point for longer hikes.
