Hiking in Fieberbrunn, Pillerseetal

Alm and mountain paths in the Pillerseetal, quieter than Kitzbühel

Fieberbrunn lies in the Pillerseetal, in the Kitzbühel Alps. The village is best known as a winter sports resort, but in summer it has a good network of mountain and alm paths, and it is usually quieter than Kitzbühel.

In summer the Streubödenbahn takes you up to the Lärchfilzkogel at about 1,645 m, the starting point for walks to the Wildseelodersee lake and other routes. At the middle station you will find Timoks Wilde Welt, an adventure world for families with an alpine coaster, water play and a forest rope course, among other things. This lets you combine a hike with a day full of activities for children. Ask the tourist office for a map and the current lift times.
