Fieberbrunn: hiking from the Lärchfilzkogel

Take the gondola up and hike over flower-rich alpine meadows

Fieberbrunn lies in the PillerseeTal, at the foot of the Kitzbühel Alps. In summer the gondola takes you up to the Lärchfilzkogel (1,645 m), the start of several hiking routes. From the top station a short walk through flower-rich alpine meadows leads to the Wildsee, where the Wildseeloderhaus sits right on the shore with views of the Kitzbühel Alps. For the longer round trip allow about 3 to 4 hours.

At the middle station you will find Timoks Wilde Welt, a children's adventure world with an alpine coaster, a water playground and a forest rope course. There is also a family walk with ten stations, guided by the mascot Timok. That makes for a day out that suits families with children of different ages, about 50 minutes by car from Niederau.
