Tyrol's oldest golf club, at roughly 1,000 m by Lake Achensee
The club in Pertisau was founded in 1934 and is regarded as the oldest in Tyrol. It is an 18-hole course (par 71) at about 1,000 m altitude, at the foot of the Karwendel range. If you are planning a day trip from Niederau to Lake Achensee, a round here is an easy addition.
According to tourism sources the driving range is covered, and there are a practice bunker, practice greens, a golf school, a pro shop and a restaurant. Tee lengths differ considerably: from the white tees a golf portal gives just over 6,100 m, from the red ladies' tees about 4,950 m. Guests are welcome, but a tee time has to be reserved and proof of handicap is asked for. The season runs roughly from April to November.
