At the foot of the Hahnenkamm, in the finish area of the famous Streif downhill, lies Rasmushof: nine holes, all of them par 3. According to Tirol Werbung the course opened in 1977 as Austria's first nine-hole par-3 facility, the idea being to make sporting use of the ski slope in summer too. Some holes climb the slope, and the greens are small, rewarding accurate iron play.
The facility includes a driving range, a short-game area, a golf school, a restaurant and rental of clubs and trolleys. Guests can play daily after booking; proof of handicap is requested. Sources disagree on the exact length, so it is better not to rely on a fixed figure. It suits a short round in or near Kitzbühel.
