Playing here means crossing the Austrian-German border more than once. Of the 18 holes (par 70), six are in Tyrol and twelve in Bavaria, with the clubhouse on the Austrian side. The course reportedly opened in 1985 and lies on a plateau east of Kössen, with views of the Kaiser mountains and the Chiemgau Alps. The yellow tees measure 5,461 m, the red 4,794 m.
Guests are welcome but must register and show a club card with a registered handicap (up to 54; 36 at weekends and on public holidays). There is a driving range with 35 tees, 10 of them covered, plus putting, pitching and chipping greens. The season runs from April to November.
