Golfclub Ruhpolding lies in the Zell district of the village, on Rauschbergstraße. It is an 18-hole course (par 72) by the German architect Thomas Himmel. According to the Ruhpolding tourist board the men's tees measure about 6,004 m. The toughest hole is the 13th, a 571 m par 5.
The terrain is gently hilly with water hazards and ranges from sporty to demanding. For warming up there is a driving range, putting and chipping greens and a three-hole short course. The season runs from about April to November. Guests register beforehand and show a club card with a handicap. From Niederau you drive there via the Kaiserwinkl.
