Golfclub Isarwinkel Bad Tölz

Nine holes plus a public six-hole par-3 course

Golfclub Isarwinkel lies near Bad Tölz and has two courses. The main course has nine holes and dates from 2003, designed by Wolfgang Barth. Played twice round it is par 70, with the yellow tee measuring about 2,760 m per nine, over gently hilly terrain with water hazards.

For beginners the second course is more interesting: the Flint course, opened in 2004, has six par-3 holes and is open to the public. According to the providers you need neither a proficiency certificate nor a membership, so you can simply start. That suits children and families trying golf for the first time. There is a driving range with 20 mats, six of them covered. The season runs from mid-March into November. From Niederau it is about 1 hour 45 minutes by car; it combines well with a visit to Bad Tölz.
