Chiemsee Golf Club Prien

18 holes with views of the Chiemgau Alps

The Chiemsee Golf Club in Prien-Bauernberg was founded in 1961, at first with nine holes. Since 2009 it has been a full 18-hole course (par 72) in parkland with mature trees. It measures 5,773 m from the yellow tees and 5,119 m from the red ladies' tees.

The terrain is partly hilly and described by the club as demanding; from the course you can see the Chiemgau Alps and the Chiemsee. Guests are welcome but need to register and usually show a club card with a registered handicap. From Niederau it is a drive through the Inn valley and along the A8, suited to a day that combines golf with a visit to the lake.
