Höslwang Golf Club sits on a hill about ten kilometres from the Chiemsee. The club began in 1974 with nine holes; the present 18-hole course was inaugurated in 1992. A redesign by Thomas Himmel is credited, though the year is not confirmed. The course measures 6,190 m from the white tees (par 72) and 6,025 m from the yellow.
The terrain is hilly with water hazards. One description calls the course strategic rather than long: placing the ball well pays more than hitting it far. On clear days you can see the Chiemgau Alps.
