Gut Ising Golf Club, Chieming

Nine holes between tree avenues and polo fields

On the Gut Ising estate near Chieming lies a nine-hole course founded in 1997 and, according to one source, designed by Thomas Himmel. It runs between old tree avenues and the neighbouring polo fields and is flat, with water hazards. Sources give different pars (70 or 72), so confirm this with the club beforehand.

For practice there is a driving range with 15 tees (2 covered), putting, pitching and chipping greens and a practice bunker. The season runs from April to October. Guests register beforehand and show a club card with a handicap. The estate also has a hotel, so the course combines well with a stay by the Chiemsee.
