Golfclub Beuerberg

Long 18 holes by Donald Harradine near Eurasburg

Golfclub Beuerberg lies at Gut Sterz in Beuerberg, in the municipality of Eurasburg, south of Lake Starnberg. The course was laid out in the early 1980s (sources give 1982 or 1983) on the initiative of the Swiss entrepreneur Urs Zondler, to a design by the golf architect Donald Harradine. The 18 holes cover about 119 hectares.

It is a long course: par 74, 6,262 m from the yellow tees. Anyone wanting a shorter round can choose blue (5,820 m), red (5,569 m) or orange (5,206 m). Given the length and the high par, this is a course for experienced players rather than a quick morning round. Visitors can usually play, but ask about the conditions in advance. From Niederau it is roughly two hours by car, the most distant course in this overview, so it is only worth it if you set aside a full day.
