In summer, cable cars around Söll also carry bikes. You can ride up by lift and come back down on trails and forest tracks without a hard climb first. The Salvenbahn lifts you roughly 1,200 m in about 20 minutes. Options range from easy routes to more technical terrain.
Söll lies at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser and is a natural base for a day on the bike. A well-known intermediate circuit around the Hohe Salve is about 37 km long with roughly 1,100 m of climbing. SkiWelt publishes route and lift information, and rental shops can be found in the village. The season runs roughly from May to October. Beginners and children should stick to the easier routes; always bring a helmet.
