Cycling and mountain biking at Brixen im Thale

Cycling from the valley station, from alm routes to trails

Brixen im Thale lies in the Brixental and is part of the SkiWelt. From the village, forest tracks lead up to mountain inns such as the Kandleralm at just over 1,100 m, a nice goal for an afternoon ride. The direct climb from the valley station to the Kandleralm is demanding; if you prefer not to climb, you can use the cable car.

The area suits families with cycling children, provided you pick routes of the right difficulty. Bikes can usually be rented near the valley station and in the village. An e-bike makes the climb much easier for adults.
