Area 47 is a large outdoor and adventure park at Ötztal-Bahnhof station, in the municipality of Haiming in the Ötztal valley. The grounds are divided into zones for water, climbing, mountain biking and wakeboarding, among others, so there is enough to fill a whole day.
Attractions include a water park with slides, a high rope course, one of Austria's highest artificial climbing walls and a zip line. There are also guided activities such as rafting and canyoning, mostly for older children and teenagers. Age and height limits apply to each activity, so decide with the children beforehand what suits them.
