Tennis in Oberau

Three clay courts in the Wildschönau valley

The Wildschönau tennis courts are in Oberau, the village next to Niederau. There are three clay courts and a café serving refreshments. They are close to the open-air swimming pool between Niederau and Oberau, so it is easy to combine tennis and a swim in one day.

Use of the courts is included with the Wildschönau Card and the Premium Card; coaching lessons cost extra. The courts are open in summer only (in 2026 roughly from late April to mid-September), daily from about 9 am to 7 pm and depending on the weather. Booking a day ahead is advisable, and on-site payment is cash only. Ask Wildschönau Tourism for the current opening hours.
