Glide over the Wildschönau with an experienced pilot
The Wildschönau is one of the paragliding hotspots in Tyrol, and the high valley is well sheltered from strong winds. The Markbachjochbahn takes pilots from Niederau to the take-off next to the top station, at about 1,500 metres. You fly with an experienced tandem pilot; no experience is needed.
You land close to the centre of Niederau, at 828 metres. The height difference is about 600 metres, the flight lasts 8 to 10 minutes and the whole activity about 45 minutes. According to the region a weight of roughly 20 to 120 kilos applies, so children from about 5 years can sometimes join. A well-known provider is Fly2 Tandemflights.
